True Lies are a five piece classic rock covers band based in Newark in the East Midlands.
Originally formed in the late Nineties the band have recently reformed after a break of several years.
Performing covers of songs by bands as diverse as Guns 'n' Roses, U2 and Queen, you are always assured of hearing a varied selection of numbers at a True Lies gig.

Meet The Band
Antony - Vocals/Acoustic Guitar
Lead vocalist with True Lies, Ant has gained a wealth of experience playing guitar and singing with bands such as Journeymen, Slip O' The Tongue and Midnight Crisis.
Colin - Bass Guitar
An experienced bass player, Colin has played bass in several local bands but most notably was one of the founding members of True Lies. Colin plays a custom built five string through Trace Elliot amplification.
Darren - Rhythm Guitar/Keyboards
Mainly picking up rhythm guitar duties but with the odd bit of keyboard thrown in, Darren has several years gigging experience with bands such as Midnight Crisis, Hideaway and Stormy Monday.
Paul - Lead Guitar
A founder member of True Lies, along with Darren and Colin, Paul has many years playing experience and has played guitar or bass with several top local bands such as Journeymen and Twin Carbs.
